Abstract:
To provide an improved technology of lubrication in a vehicle drive device which enables power of two motors to be joined with a planetary mechanism.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device includes a first motor 11, a second motor 12 and a planetary mechanism 20 and joins power obtained by the first motor 11 and the second motor 12 with the planetary mechanism 20 to obtain drive force. Further, the vehicle drive device includes an oil pump 30 using the second motor 12 as a drive source. The oil pump 30 is connected to an output shaft 12A of the second motor 12 through a transmission mechanism 32. The oil pump 30 supplies lubrication oil (oil) to a necessary portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
