Abstract:
To reduce the possibility that a wiring system of a low voltage system of a vehicle drive device that drives a vehicle using a driving battery of a low voltage of 60 volts or less exceeds a standard upper limit voltage.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device 5 includes: a permanent magnet motor M1; an inverter 10 for driving the permanent magnet motor M1; a DCDC converter 60 connected to the inverter 10 for stepping-up and down a voltage; and a driving battery B1 connected to the DCDC converter 60. The DCDC converter 60 outputs the voltage of a positive pole 71 of the driving battery B1 input to the DCDC converter 60 to the inverter 10 while keeping the voltage unchanged, and outputs the voltage of a negative pole 72 of the driving battery B1 input to the DCDC converter 60 to the inverter 10 after raising it in a negative direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
