Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment in which a vehicle driver can enjoy safety and convenience, and a road enterpriser can prevent an illegal use and enjoy high safety.
SOLUTION: The on-vehicle equipment 10 to be used for the automatic charge collecting system of a pay road is provided with an IC card inserting means 20 for inserting an IC card 24, an input means 14 for inputting PIN, and a traveling/stop judging means 11 for judging whether a vehicle is traveling or stoping from the traveling signal of the vehicle. When it is judged that the vehicle is traveling by the traveling/stop judging means, any PIN input from the inputting means is prohibited. Thus, any danger accompanied by the PIN inputting operation while the vehicle is traveling can be prevented.
