Abstract:
To provide on-vehicle equipment that more surely informs a driver about a disaster and crisis notification.SOLUTION: On-vehicle equipment is a drive recorder, a radar detector, a car navigation system, a car audio system or an on-vehicle television, and comprises a reception unit 12, a display unit 11, and a control unit 15. The reception unit 12 can receive disaster and crisis information. The display unit 11 changes over from another screen and displays a notification screen 34 showing a content of the disaster and crisis information received by the reception unit 12. The control unit 15 disposes an icon which shows a type of a disaster or crisis included in the disaster and crisis information by using a drawing pattern in the center or on the right side of the notification screen 34. A character array showing the type is highlighted and disposed at an upper part of the notification screen 34. On the left side of the notification screen 34, detailed contents of the disaster and crisis information are shown and a text composed of sentences, itemized statements or both is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
