In the vehicle 10, the fuel battery 30 is set in a rectangular first recession 22, which is formed on the part of a floor panel 20 that is under a front seat 60 in a passenger room R1, so that the upper part of the battery 30 projects upward from the reference surface 20a of the floor panel 20. The fuel battery 30 is, therefore, placed in the passenger room R1 to be protected from dust and filthy water, which makes the maintenance of the battery 30 easier than in a case where it is exposed to dust or filthy water.
