PURPOSE: To obtain an appropriate lamp mount for a vehicle by providing a mechanical and electrical integration of electrical components into a substrate through a compressive bonding of the components on the substrate for holding them in an appropriate position in an aperture formed in the substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A bulb socket 24 has a pair of plastic arms which extend from the top 21 of a lens 22 of single-piece construction upward. The arms are made of nonconductive material. Each of the arms has an aperture 29 for solidly supporting the extremity of the bulb 26 between the arms which is placed with a slight space from the top 21 of the lens 22. The space between the pair of arms is set in such a way that the conductive extremity 27 of the bulb 26 extends toward the outside of the arms. The space between the apertures in a vertical direction is set with respect to the thickness of the headliner material in such a way that the extremity 27 of the bulb is supported in compressed condition and with electrical contact with a foil laminate conductor of a socket for receiving component which is formed through the headliner 14.
