Abstract:
To provide a vehicle stopping device with high braking effectiveness that stops the vehicle's progress even when the vehicle crashes with the vehicle offset against the vehicle stopping device.SOLUTION: A vehicular forced stopping device 1 is provided with a base frame 2 having Longitudinal frame elements 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d arranged in parallel across the front and rear, and transverse frame elements 5a, 5b coupled to the front and rear of the longitudinal frame elements, two arm-shaped actuating parts 11 arranged in a state of having an elevation angle and pivotally supported by rear parts on both sides of the base frame 2, a vertical bar 13 raised above the tip of both actuating arms, and a stop bar 3 having a horizontal bar 14 connecting the upper ends of both vertical bars 13. Elastic means 20 deformed with the lowering of the actuating parts 11 and generating elastic resistance is journaled to the rear part of the base frame 2, and the load by the car is transmitted to the base frame 2 by the elastic means 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
