Abstract:
To make compatible both the securement of a drip hole of a cross member, and the suppression of the lowering of rigidity.SOLUTION: A cross member 20 has a closed cross section structure having a substantially-rectangular shape in a side face view, and diameter-expanded parts 22 which are expanded in diameters to a vehicle fore-and-aft vertical direction along the outside of a vehicle width direction are formed at both ends in the vehicle width direction. A weld margin 30 welded to an inclined part 16 of a kickup frame 10 is formed at a terminal end in the vehicle width direction of the diameter-expanded part 22 over the vehicle fore-and-aft vertical direction. In a lower diameter-expanded part 22B connected to a lower weld margin 30D along the inclined part 16 of the kickup frame 10 out of the weld margin, a burring hole 34 is formed at a position being the lowest point in an internal space 32 of the diameter-expanded part 22 which is a front part of a vehicle being a relatively-low position along the inclined part 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
