Abstract:
To provide a front part structure for a vehicle that is able to absorb collision energy even in the event of small overlap collision.SOLUTION: A front part structure for a vehicle C comprises a pair of side shells 2, a front-end cross 4, and a reinforcement 6. The side shells 2 are arranged side by side in the vehicle width direction P of the vehicle C, and extend in forward and backward directions Q. The front-end cross 4 extends in the vehicle width direction P of the vehicle C and connects the pair of side shells 2. As for the reinforcement 6, the outermost surface thereof is disposed at the front ends of the side shells 2 and outside the side shells 2 in the vehicle width direction P. The front end cross 4 extends further outside than the side shells 2 in the vehicle width direction P, and has a connection portion 4c joined to the reinforcement 6 at a first joining point 10 located further outside in the vehicle width direction P than the ends of the side shells 2 in the vehicle width direction P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
