To enable a driver of a vehicle to take a telephone conversation state of hands free, other telephone conversation state, etc. without causing increase of a burden to be imposed when a call incoming state is taken in a radio telephone system in the vehicle under a condition that there is a fellow passenger.
The radio telephone system 11 is coupled and a fellow passenger detection part 14 and an input operation part 51 are connected with this on-vehicle handset though a coupling part 13 and the on-vehicle handset is provided with a hands free control part 50 which considers telephone conversation as a hands free state in which the telephone conversation by the radio telephone system 11 is performed through a voice input part and a voice output part provided to the vehicle when existence of the fellow passenger is not detected by the fellow passenger detection part 14 and considers the telephone conversation as a state according to presetting based on an operation to the input operation part 51 when the existence of the fellow passenger is detected by the fellow passenger detection part 14 when a call incoming state is taken in the radio telephone system 11.
