Abstract:
To provide a headlamp device for a vehicle which can secure a field of view of a driver of an own vehicle in a wide range as much as possible when a vehicle is in front of the own vehicle.SOLUTION: A headlamp device for a vehicle includes: a lamp part 101 which irradiates a front of an own vehicle with light; a camera part 102 which photographs the front of the own vehicle; a radar part 103 which measures information on a preceding vehicle existing in front of the own vehicle; and a control part 104 which controls an irradiation range of the lamp part 101 on the basis of an image obtained by photographing by the camera part 102 and the information on the preceding vehicle measured by the radar part 103. The control part 104 makes the lamp part 101 irradiate the preceding vehicle when a speed of the preceding vehicle measured by the radar part 103 is approximately zero and it is determined that the lamp of the preceding vehicle is in an off-state from the image photographed by the camera part 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
