To prevent a vehicle from getting into a state that is liable to cause vehicle behavior uncomfortable to the driver with the use of a vehicle height controller for adjusting vehicle height control mechanisms provided for all the wheels to control the vehicle height.

All the wheels of a vehicle are provided with air suspensions 12, 14, 16 and 18. The suspensions 12, 14, 16 and 18 are controlled for the control of the vehicle height and are continued to be driven until predetermined requirements set for the respective wheels are satisfied. The vehicle rolling state is detected based on detection values by vehicle height sensors 82, 84, 86 and 88 provided for all the wheels. Those requirements set for all the wheels are then evaluated in terms of suppression of the vehicle rolling and updated to values aiming for better evaluation.
