Abstract:
To provide a hood lock device for a vehicle and a manufacturing method for a hood lock device for a vehicle, capable of improving fitting performance.SOLUTION: A hood lock device 100 for a vehicle comprises: a base 1; a latch 2 rotatable on the base 1; a lock lever 3 for holding the latch 2 at a restraining position; a torsion spring 4 for generating elastic force for rotating the latch 2 in a release position direction; and a sub plate 5 that covers part of the latch 2 and part of the lock lever 3. The sub plate 5 integrally includes: a first and second peripheral wall parts 511, 512 that face a cylindrical part 40 in a radial direction to regulate the movement of the torsion spring 4 in the radial direction; and a first flange part 513 and a second flange part 514 that protrude to the outside and the inside in the radial direction from end parts in an axial direction opposite to a base part 510 of the first and second peripheral wall parts 511, 512 to regulate the movement of the torsion spring 4 in the axial direction. The first peripheral wall part 511 is provided on the inner side in the radial direction of the cylindrical part 40 and the second peripheral wall part 512 is provided on the outer side in the radial direction of the cylindrical part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
