To reduce a moving amount of a driver's visual line when the driver checks information displayed on a transmission type display device and make the display of information not be an eyesore of a driver.SOLUTION: In a vehicle information display method, an object in front of a vehicle is detected (S2), a direction of a driver's visual line is determined to determine whether or not the visual line is directed to the object (S3), and a display position for displaying information on a display surface of a transmission type display device 12 placed in front of the driver is controlled so as to follow the movement of an intersection position 31 between the display surface and the visual line with a delay when the visual line is directed to the object (S10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
