Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information distribution system capable of backing up vehicle specification information, and reducing a man-hour for article number management and inventory management of supply parts.SOLUTION: Included are gateway equipment that relays communication data sent from a communication network on which the gateway equipment is connected, and one piece of information distribution equipment connected on the communication network. The information distribution equipment includes an information receiving unit that receives vehicle specification information on which the specifications of a vehicle are reflected, an information memory unit that stores the acquired vehicle specification information, and an information distribution unit that distributes the vehicle specification information to pieces of vehicular equipment connected on the communication network. The gateway equipment includes an acquisition unit that acquires the vehicle specification information from equipment other than the information distribution equipment, a transmission unit that transmits the acquired vehicle specification information to the information distribution equipment, a receiving unit that receives the vehicle specification information distributed from the information distribution equipment, and a memory unit that stores the received vehicle specification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
