Abstract:
To provide a vehicular inner mirror which can avoid overlapping of an image on a display and a reflection image in teh rear of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An inner mirror 5 comprising: a mirror housing 13 which is provided on a passenger compartment 4; a display 14 which is provided in the mirror housing 13 and can display an image in the rear of a vehicle; and a half mirror 21 which has a reflection surface 25 which can permeate incident light from the display 14 and can reflect incident light from the vehicle rear, and is provided in such a state as to be capable of being displaced between a first position (solid line in Fig. 3) at which the reflection surface 25 is directed to the vehicle rear and a second position (imaginary line in Fig. 3) at which the reflection surface 25 is directed to an inner surface of the mirror housing 13. An actuator 27 is so controlled that the half mirror 21 is displaced to the first position when an image is not displayed on the display 14, and the half mirror 21 is displaced to the second position when the image is displayed on the display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
