Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an instrument panel structure which enables the use of a common duct in different kinds of vehicles, provides good workability in arranging a plurality of electrical equipment such as meters, and can enhance synthesis in the event of a side collision
CONSTITUTION: In a space portion formed by an instrument panel, a base 13 is disposed along almost the overall width of a vehicle, and a plurality of ducts 15-20 are formed integrally with the base 13 and a meter holder 24 for placing meters and an air-bag holder 24 for placing air bags are formed, and a harness holder 26 for placing a flat harness is formed along the lateral direction of the vehicle.
