Abstract:
To control winding of a seat belt depending on accident risk on the basis of situation around a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises a motor for winding a seat belt provided therein, detects a preceding vehicle and a subsequent vehicle during travel of the vehicle, and determines a risk of collision of the detected subsequent vehicle with the vehicle. According to this vehicle, when it has been determined that there is the risk, a winding speed of the seat belt by the motor is changed, and winding of the seat belt is controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
