Title:
車両用物体検出装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP7324057
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
To eliminate the influence of other objects that generate a multipath for a reflected radar wave from a detection object and reliability discriminate between a ghost and a real object when detecting an object on the outside of a vehicle by a radar device.SOLUTION: A reflection point determination unit 31 determines whether or not there is a reflection point on a first object in the surrounding of the host vehicle that reflects a radar wave reflected by the first object. When a second object is detected following the first object while there is a reflection point, a first ghost determination unit 32 determines, on the basis of the relative speed of the reflection point to the host vehicle, the relative speed of the first object to the host vehicle and the relative speed of the second object to the host vehicle, whether or not a first ghost condition that the second object is provisionally assumed as a ghost holds true. Furthermore, when the first ghost condition of the second object holds true, a second ghost determination unit 33 determines, on the basis of a second ghost condition pertaining to a physical relationship where at least the second object is detected, whether or not the second object is a ghost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
