The vehicle operating system 1 includes: a grip 6 can rotate around the central axis of a bar handle 2; an operating part 7 that is mounted coaxially with the grip and integrally revolves with the grip; a case 8 that is fixed near an end of the bar handle; and a wire 4 one end of which is connected to the operating system and the other end is connected to an operation object element 3 and which is arrayed along the central axis of the bar handle. On the end on the operating part side of the wire, a wiper 41 having a spherical surface is mounted. The operating part has, on an outer periphery, a spiral groove 72 having a circular arc-like cross-section, the groove making slidable contact with the spherical surface of the wiper. The case has a guiding part 80h that guides the wiper to move in the axial direction.
