Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation management system capable of managing the operating state of a vehicle in an integrated manner while reducing the burden of communication cost, and precisely grasping the arrival at a delivery destination.
SOLUTION: In the vehicle operation management system, a management computer comprises an area setting means for setting a geographic range including the destination based on the latitude and longitude; and a range information storage means for storing the geographic range in association with the name of a destination. An onboard device 6 comprises an ignition detection means 41 for detecting a stop of operation based on the state of the vehicle; a GPS receiver 39 for acquiring the present position of the vehicle; an arrival recognition means 48 for collating the present position acquired by the GPS receiver 39 with the geographic range, when the stop of operation is detected, and recognizing the arrival of the vehicle at the destination when the present position is included in the geographic range; and a result transmission means 40 for transmitting the result to the management computer as the result of the vehicle.
