A pedal part 5 containing a stepping force sensor can relatively turn toward its front side along the outer circumference of a support stage 4 and around a horizontal shaft 6 against the stage 4 placed on a dash panel 2 which is displaced toward the rear of a vehicle body when the load larger than a prescribed level is inputted from the front of the vehicle body. The rear end part of the part 5 is set at a position behind the panel 2 and connected to a floor panel 3 which is not easily displaced toward the rear of the vehicle body when the load larger than a prescribed level is inputted from the front of the vehicle body via a link 8.
