Abstract:
PURPOSE:To apply brake in association with a hydraulic pump during engine brake, by a method wherein a hydraulic pump is interlocked with a driving system running from an engine to driving wheels, and a throttle flow passage is formed in a delivery line. CONSTITUTION:The output shaft of an engine 1 is interlocked with an input shaft 1b in a transmission 2, and an output shaft 2a of a transmission 2 is interlocked with an output shaft 2a of the transmission 2. A hydraulic pump 3 is interlocked with the input shaft 1b through gears 1c and 3a. A throttle flow passage 5 is located between a delivery line 3b, running from the hydraulic pump 3, and cooler 6, a throttle amount of the throttle flow passage 5 is decreased in proportion to a step-on amount of a brake pedal, and the delivery line 3b is communicated to a reservoir 4 through the cooler 6 and the line 3c.
