To provide a vehicle seat having a structure wherein a strength against impact at collision becomes high in traveling of the vehicle, and a passenger can take a relaxed attitude in stopping of the vehicle.
In the vehicle seats 3, 4 including a sitting surface part 5 and a seat back part 7 provided so as to stand from the sitting surface part 5, a leg part 8 adjusting a height in a vertical direction is provided between the sitting surface part 5 and a floor surface 2 in a cabin, and an engagement part 18 detachable to a ceiling part 12 in the cabin is provided on an upper end part of the seat back part 7. The engagement part 18 of the seat back part 7 is constituted so as to be engaged with the ceiling part 12 in the state where the height in a vertical direction of the leg part 8 is made high and the seat back part 7 is upwardly pulled up.
