Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding vehicle seat which can be folded and housed smoothly without making a seat cushion interfere with the body.
SOLUTION: According to the vehicle seat, when a seat back 1a is folded forward, the seat cushion 1b is moved to the rear to be housed and the back of the seat back 1a is folded continuously with a rear deck 21 to form a cargo floor. The lower part of the seat back 1a is supported on the body 22 in a swingable manner via a hinge bracket 4. The front part of the seat cushion 1b is supported on the body 22 in a swingable manner via a first link 3a, and the rear part of the seat cushion is pivotally attached to the lower part of the seat back 1a. The pivotally attached part is engaged with an arcuate guide hole formed on the rear part of the seat cushion 1b, and is linked to the front end of the first link 3a via a second link 3b, so that the pivotally attached part is made to move along the guide hole.
