Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a force for constraining the lower body of a passenger to a seat without strongly constraining the upper body of the passenger and to improve steering wheel operability when a vehicle turns.SOLUTION: A vehicle seatbelt device 1 including a webbing 5 constituted by a shoulder belt 51 and a lap belt 52 installed to stride over a passenger's waist to extend in a vehicle width direction; a retractor 4 fixed to a vehicle body, and supporting a shoulder belt-side end portion of the webbing 5 so as to be able to wind the end portion thereof; a lap anchor 2 fixed to the vehicle body, and supporting a lap belt-side end portion of the webbing; and a buckle 3 detachably engaged with a tongue 61 provided with a slide portion slidably holding the webbing, comprises: vehicle turn detection means for detecting that the vehicle turns; and first, second, and third tension adjustment means for adjusting a tension applied to the webbing 5 by pulling the webbing 5.
