Abstract:
To inhibit occurrences of various types of troubles according to a type of a surrounding area of an installation area where a power transmission device is installed.SOLUTION: A vehicle 100 includes: a power reception part; a detection part; and an ECU. The detection part detects a detection object 430 in a detection area 420 when the power reception part receives electric power from a power transmission part. The ECU reduces the electric power transmitted by the power transmission part when the detection object 430 is detected. A lane area 460 is positioned in an RI direction relative to an installation area 450 where the power transmission part is installed. A sidewalk area 440 is positioned in an LE direction relative to the installation area 450. The detection area 420 includes an area 422R1 and an area 422L1. A first length L1 from the vehicle 100 to an outer exterior edge E1 of the area 422R1 in the RI direction is shorter than a second length L2 from the vehicle 100 to an outer exterior edge E2 of the area 422R1 in the LE direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
