Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side structure which can reduce an entering amount of a door belt line part into a cabin when a load is input to the door belt line part of a front door from an outer side in a vehicle width direction.SOLUTION: A vehicle side structure 10 is provided with: an instrument panel reinforcement 14 which is formed in a cylindrical shape of which an axial direction is a vehicle width direction, and has an outer side end part 16 in the vehicle width direction joined to a front pillar 20 in a position at a same height as a door belt line part of a front door 30; an engagement protrusion 46 which is arranged on the front door 30, and is arranged so as to face to an inside of a joined region of the instrument panel reinforcement 14 of the front pillar 20 in the vehicle width direction when the front door 30 is closed; and an engagement part 26 which is formed in the joined region of the front pillar 20 and with which the engagement protrusion 46 is engaged when a load is input from an outer side in the vehicle width direction and the engagement protrusion 46 moves to an inner side in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
