Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for calculating a vehicle speed and an acceleration with high precision.
CONSTITUTION: By each of plural speed power generators 1A to 1D, the frequency signal proportional to the rotation speed of each wheel is output, the vehicle speed corresponding to each wheel is obtained on the basis of an external wheel diameter signal and the signal from each of the speed power generators, and the vehicle acceleration corresponding to each of the wheels is obtained, further, the mean value of the vehicle acceleration corresponding to each of the wheels and the deviation from the mean value of the vehicle acceleration corresponding to each wheel is obtained. By means of a fuzzy reasoning part 12, a fuzzy rule is applied to the arithmetic operation results of speed, acceleration, and acceleration deviation, and the idling scale and sliding scale index of each of the wheels are determined, and by means of a speed correction circuit, the speed and the acceleration are corrected on the basis of the idling scale and sliding scale of each of the wheels, further, by means of a synthesizing part, the outputs of the speed correction circuit are synthesized, and the speed and acceleration of the entire vehicle are obtained.
