To provide a vehicle steerable by centroid movement capable of traveling back and forth and turning laterally simply by centroid movement.
The vehicle comprises a left wheel 4L and a right wheel 4R disposed at least coaxially, a first driving motor 5L and a second driving motor 5R for rotating the left and right wheels 4L and 4R, and a vehicle base 2 where the left wheel 4L and the right wheel 4R are arranged on both left and right sides and the first driving motor 5L and the second driving motor 5R are mounted. The vehicle further comprises a step board 3 that is disposed over the vehicle base 2 and lets a person on, pressure sensors 6L, 6R, 7L and 7R that are disposed between the vehicle base 2 and the step board 3 and detect the center-of-gravity movement of the passenger, and a drive controlling means 10 for driving and controlling the first driving motor 5L and the second driving motor 5R based on detection signals from the pressure sensors 6L, 6R, 7L and 7R and to perform linear travel and/or turning operation.
