Abstract:
To provide a steering joint cover structure for a vehicle which can be highly precisely mounted on the vehicle and has a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The steering joint cover structure 100 for a vehicle comprises: a steering gear box 110 arranged in front of a dash panel 102; a steering joint 108 which connects the steering gear box 110 and a steering shaft 104; and a cover member 114 which covers the steering joint 108. The cover member 114 has: an upper connection part 118 including a cylindrical base part 124 and a head part 126 to be connected to the dash panel 102; a lower connection part 120 to be connected to the steering gear box 110; and an intermediate cylindrical part 122 which is disposed between the upper connection part 118 and the lower connection part 120 and has a shape of a cylinder with a smaller diameter than that of the base part 124 of the upper connection part 118 and than that of the lower connection part 120. The central axis C1 of the base part 124 of the upper connection part 118 is located more frontward than the central axis C2 of the intermediate cylindrical part 122.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
