Abstract:
To provide a vehicle structure enabling a wheelchair to be fixed to a vehicle in a stable state when a wheelchair user gets on and off the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle structure for fixing a wheelchair 11 having an engaged part 12 fixable to a vehicle 1 includes: a vehicle body member forming at least a part of a door opening 3 in the vehicle 1, for instance, a side sill 7 forming a lower edge of the door opening 3; and an engaging part capable of fixing the engaged part 12 of the wheelchair 11 to the vehicle body member such as the side sill 7. The side sill 7 has, for instance, a projection or a recess of a lower side flange part 7a as an engaging part. With this, the vehicle structure can fix the wheelchair 11 to the vehicle in a stable state due to that the engaged part 12 of the wheelchair 11 is fixed to the engaging part such as the lower side flange part 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
