Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the weight of a vehicle as bending strength is maintained and to reduce the generation of noise, by a method wherein profiles with which the outer plate part of a vehicle is formed are joined together by spot welding, and a space between the outer plate part and an inner plate part is filled with foaming aluminum. CONSTITUTION:Profiles 6 and 6' serving as an outer plate part with which a railroad vehicle structure is formed are joined together by spot welding, and a space between the outer plate part and a floor plate 9 being an inner plate part is filled with foaming concrete 8 and 8'. By using foaming concrete having a low specific gravity as enough bending strength is maintained, the weight of a vehicle can be decreased. Further, the generation of indoor noise due to a cavity in the foaming concrete can be reduced.
