Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety when a portable telephone set is used in a vehicle by giving a proper response which takes into account the use state of the telephone set.
SOLUTION: A handsfree call using a portable telephone set 10 is possible, nevertheless a calling itself weakens concentration on driving and it is inappropriate even in the handsfree state when a travel situation which requires high concentration is generated. When an incoming call is made, vehicle associated information is obtained S10 and response propriety is judged based on vehicle associated information S20. When a user is in a situation that he cannot make a response S30: NO, a response processing for preventing the user from executing any operation is executed S60 to S100. For giving a message to a caller side S70 and S90, it is desirable that the caller side can know a reason why the user does not make the response.
