To provide a vehicle sound generating device capable of uttering sound information in an appropriate sound volume not only for a person inside a vehicle but also for the person outside the vehicle.

The vehicle sound generating device utters the sound information having a small sound volume from a speaker 44 inside the vehicle when a golf cart 10 runs by the operation of a manual start/stop switch 33, and utters the sound information having a large sound volume from the speaker 45 outside the vehicle when the golf cart 10 runs by the operation of remote start/stop switch 31. When the sound detected by an engine revolution speed detection sensor 34, or detected by a microphone 35 is large, the sound volume of the sound information uttered from the speakers 44, 45 is increased. The sound volume of the sound information is corrected based on the signal transmitted from an analog signal output part 27 to an addition processing part 41d. A basic sound volume adjustment operating knob adjusting the basic sound volume is installed in a front part seat 47.
