Abstract:
To suppress renewal of a program from being interrupted by power shortage.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises: a high voltage-system circuit including a high-voltage battery; a low-voltage system circuit which includes a low-voltage battery which is lower in output voltage than the high-voltage battery and a renewing part that executes renewal of a program related to a device to be renewed, using power supplied from the low-voltage battery or the high-voltage battery; a DC-DC converter, connected to a space between the high-voltage system circuit and the low-voltage system circuit, which can step down output power from the high-voltage battery and supply the power to the renewing part of the low-voltage system circuit; and a control part that sets a range of target charge rates for the high-voltage battery and controls charging of the high-voltage battery on the basis of the range of the target charge rates. The control part, when renewal of the program related to the device to be renewed is reserved, changes a lower limit value of the target charge rates for the high-voltage battery to a value higher than at normal times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
