Abstract:
Safety device (1) for a battery of lithium electrochemical generators comprising: a chest (100) configured to house a plurality of lithium electrochemical generators, comprising an opening (130) allowing the introduction of the electrochemical generators; a lid (200) intended to be positioned in a gastight manner over the opening (130) of the chest; a vent-forming opening (120) situated in of the walls of the chest (100) or situated on the lid (200), a duct (300) comprising two openings (311 ,312), in which one of the openings (311) is intended to be connected in a gastight manner to the vent-forming opening (120) of the chest; a blanking piece (400) intended to be positioned in a gastight manner at an opening in a wall of the passenger compartment and at the second opening (312) of the duct, and in which said blanking piece comprises a part (410) designed to tear at a threshold pressure Ps; in which the walls of the chest, the lid, the duct and the blanking piece are joined together in such a way as to remain gastight up to a pressure higher than the threshold pressure Ps.
