Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize desired deceleration of an electric vehicle having the grill shutter while protecting a power storage device from over-charging in a case where receivable power from the power storage device is limited, and to suppress deterioration of a longevity of the grill shutter.SOLUTION: In a case where a request for braking is received with receivable power Win from a battery limited in a state where the power is less than a given threshold, an ECU causes a grill shutter to open. Further, even if the braking request is lifted after opening the grill shutter, the ECU causes the grill shutter to remain open until a vehicular speed value Va reaches or exceeds a given value.
