To set spark advance by using the same component as that of an electric motor in which spark advance is not set, to thereby achieve cost reduction thereof, in a vehicular automatic opening/closing device.
A motor yoke is formed at a motor body used as a driving source of a power window device, and a pair of magnets are fixed to the internal surface of the motor yoke. Then an armature core and a commutator are fixed to an armature shaft rotatably supported by the motor yoke, and a pair of brushes are brought into sliding contact with the commutator. Further a plurality of armature coils are wound to the armature core, and connected to segment pieces that are locationally shifted in a rotating direction from the segment pieces to which the armature coils are connected when the spark advance is not set by a predetermined number of pieces, to thereby set the spark advance in the motor body. Thus the automatic opening/closing device is set up so that a window pane is driven upward when the motor body is rotated in a direction in which the spark advance is set, and a moving speed difference D1 between window pane opening operation and window pane closing operation is reduced.
