A slide actuator is provided with a Hall IC for outputting a pulse signal in proportion to rotation of an electric motor for driving a sliding door, and an ECU detects an opening-closing position of the sliding door by integrating the pulse signal with time of putting the sliding door in a full closure position as a starting point. The sliding door is provided with a closer mechanism, and a latch SW and a ratchet SW are turned on when the latch and the ratchet are put in a half latch position. The ECU resets a pulse count when detecting that both the latch SW and the ratchet SW are turned on and the sliding door is in the full closure position by the pulse count.
