To provide a vehicular auxiliary machine which can easily be mounted in an engine room and be manufactured at a lower cost.
At the front end of a variable displacement compressor CP composed of a center housing 2, a cylinder block 1, a rear housing 3, a compressor drive shaft 6 and the like, a power steering hydraulic pump PP is disposed which serves also as the compressor CP and center housing 2 and is composed of a front housing 40, a pump drive shaft 46 and the like. The compressor drive shaft 6 and the pump drive shaft 46 are integrated by spline coupling, and a power steering pulley 37 is fixed at the front end of the pump drive shaft 46. The rotating pulley 37 driven by the engine rotates the pump drive shaft 46 and the compressor drive shaft 6 to cause the pump PP to effect its pumping functions and the compressor CP to effect its cooling functions.
