Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an electromagnetic valve in a brake control device comprising a fluid passage in which a pressure is regulated by an electric motor.SOLUTION: In a brake control device, a pressure regulation unit is constituted of a control cylinder which is combined with a master cylinder, a simulator and a wheel cylinder by a fluid passage, and a control piston which is moved by an electric motor with respect to the control cylinder. The pressure regulation unit selectively realizes any one of "first connection state in which connection between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder is opened, and connection between the master cylinder and the simulator is blocked" and "second connection state in which connection between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder is blocked, and connection between the master cylinder and the simulator is opened" according to a position of the control piston. A controller controls the electric motor on the basis of a rotational angle so that a position of the control piston is transited from the first connection state to the second connection state in the case where operation displacement exceeds a preset specified value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
