Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular communication system in which center frequency receivable by an in-vehicle unit can be correctly adjusted even when a signal to be transmitted from a portable unit is used.SOLUTION: The vehicular communication system includes: an in-vehicle unit 1 for transmitting signals from LF (Low Frequency) transmission antennas 3 provided in a vehicle; and a portable unit (2) and constitutes a SMART ENTRY (R). An in-vehicle transmission section 12 of the in-vehicle unit 1 transmits a predetermined signal when a start switch 51 is operated. The portable unit (2) transmits signals with predetermined intensities multiple times when receiving the predetermined signal. A signal intensity measurement section measures the reception signal intensities of the respective signals received by an in-vehicle reception section 13 while changing the center frequency of the in-vehicle reception section 13. The in-vehicle unit 1 changes the center frequency of the in-vehicle reception section 13 into the frequency whose reception signal intensity is equal to or more than a predetermined intensity.
