Abstract:
To provide a vehicular control device capable of heightening detection accuracy of a ground fault; and to provide a ground fault detection method.SOLUTION: A vehicular control device 1 has a detector 16, a voltage adjustment section 17 and a control part 9. The detector detects existence of a current flowing between one point on a route formed in parallel with a power storage part 3 and a ground pole. The voltage adjustment section adjusts so that a potential of one point on the route becomes a mutually different potential. The control part detects a ground fault based on a detection result from the detector, when such adjustment is carried out by the voltage adjustment section that the potential of one point on the route becomes a mutually different potential.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
