Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect glass breakage without malfunction in order to prevent vehicle theft by glass breakage.
SOLUTION: A pressure sensor such as a piezoelectric microphone or omnidirectional capacitor microphone detects a sudden negative pressure generated upon the glass breakage of a vehicle to generate an alarm signal. A glass breaking sound generated along with the negative pressure is also detected, so that the combination thereof can prevent the malfunction more reliably.
