In the vehicular hood supporting structure, a stepped part 15 supported by a wheel house upper member 16 extending in the longitudinal direction and arranged inside a front fender 11 is formed in an upper inner part 14 of the front fender 11. A fourth wall 34 as a receiving face abutted on a lower side of a side edge of a hood via rubber is formed on the stepped part 15, and hood lower brackets 21, 22 extending in the longitudinal direction along the stepped part 15 are fitted to the stepped part. The strength of the hood lower brackets 21, 22 is set so that the hood lower brackets become brittle as they progress to the front of a vehicle.
