Abstract:
To improve a fuel consumption rate upon execution of regeneration control.
When deceleration fuel cut is carried out to decelerate a vehicle and stop fuel supply, either of an alternator 3 and a compressor 2 of an air conditioner is regenerated. A time allowing continuous fuel cut is calculated and a destroke allowable time allowing suspension of the compressor 2 is also calculated. Based on the calculated fuel cut time and destroke allowable time, whether extension of fuel cut is possible is determined. When extension of fuel cut is determined to be possible, regeneration of the compressor 2 takes precedence over regeneration of the alternator 3.
