Abstract:
To provide vending machines, an intermediate server, and a gateway device in a vending machine payment system that enables Internet payment for a vending machine in a manner that facilitates setting changes such as when changing a sales price of a commodity while preventing the vending machine itself from becoming expensive.SOLUTION: A vending machine payment system 1 of the present invention comprises vending machines 2, an intermediate server 4, and a gateway device 6. The vending machines 2 individually have a code label 21 for identifying at least each vending machine 2. The intermediate server 4 performs, based on information obtained by a mobile terminal 3 reading the code label 21, relay processing between the mobile terminal 3 and a payment server 5 for performing payment processing based on the information. The gateway device 6 transmits purchase enabling information to the vending machine 2 so as to enable purchase of a commodity to the vending machine 2 based on payment completion information obtained from the intermediate server 4 to enable dispensing of the commodity in the vending machine 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
