Title:
VENTILATING FAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6131832
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the operation of a ventilating fan to be started or stopped easily even when one's both hands are soiled or occupied, by installing a switch section near a floor accessibly by one's foot so that the switch may be operated by one's foot.

CONSTITUTION: An operation section is composed of two large pushbuttons 2a, 2b and is situated at a skirt section 4 located at a lower part of an oven range 3 placed below a ventilating fan main body 1. When the push button 2a of the switch section 2 is pushed by one's toe, the contact is closed, and as a motor of the ventilating fan main body 1 and the switch section 2 are connected by a connecting cord 5, the motor of the ventilating fan main body 1 starts its operation to discharge the contaminated air in the room to the outside of the room. When the pushbutton 2b of the switch section 2 is pushed by one's toe, the contact is opened, the motor of the ventilating fan main body 1 is stopped, and the operation of the ventilating fan main body 1 is stopped. Therefore, when one's hands are soiled or occupied, the operation of the ventilating fan can be started or stopped easily without interrupting one's work.
