Abstract:
To appropriately ventilate an indoor space in accordance with an increase or decrease in the number of people therein in a ventilation device used for ventilating the indoor space where a large number of unspecified people go in and out.SOLUTION: A ventilation device comprises: an air supply passage 10; an air exhaust passage 12; an air supply blower 20; an air exhaust blower 22, a carbon dioxide concentration measuring section 30 which measures a concentration of carbon dioxide; and a control section 50 which controls operation of the air supply blower 20 and the air exhaust blower 22. The control section 50 has: an occupancy estimation section 64 which estimates the number of people in the indoor space 200 on the basis of the concentration of carbon dioxide measured with the carbon dioxide concentration measuring section 30; and a ventilation amount calculation section 66 which calculates a required ventilation amount of the indoor space 200 in accordance with the number of people therein. With a configuration enabling the air supply blower 20 and the air exhaust blower 22 to be controlled in accordance with the required ventilation amount, the ventilation device can appropriately ventilate the indoor space in accordance with an increase or decrease in the number of people therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
